Because we’ve already handled the regulated tender process, you can get what you need quickly and competitively.

  • It’s all about efficiency, compliance, and peace of mind. Our frameworks are designed to streamline your procurement journey whilst achieving real value for money. Plus, they offer the flexibility to meet your broader goals, including hitting sustainability targets or supporting corporate social responsibility.

  • Any UK-based public sector body can use our frameworks. This includes local authorities, NHS trusts, housing associations, emergency services, and charitable organisations. Whether you are in education or healthcare, if you're a UK-based public body, you can access our contract-managed frameworks.

  • No. There is absolutely no cost to the framework user. We’re here to help you streamline your budget, not add to it.

  • Dukefield currently manages over 25 free-to-access frameworks.   • Dukefield currently manages over 25 free-to-access frameworks. Our expertise is broad, covering everything from Printing and Telecommunications to Food & Catering, Energy Management, Legal Services, HR, and even specialist areas like PPE and Flooring.

  • Beyond the frameworks themselves, we offer procurement solutions across our four core pillars: Procurement, Energy, Foodservice, and Print. We don't just manage the contracts; we provide expert support to ensure those solutions work for your daily operations.

  • It’s very straightforward. Every framework comes with an easy-to-follow User Guide that contains everything you need to know. You’ll have two main ways to buy:

    • Direct Award: Perfect when you’ve identified a preferred supplier that meets the criteria in the Framework User Guide, and you want to move quickly.

    • Further Competition: This allows you to invite all viable suppliers on a specific framework "Lot" to bid for your specific requirements, ensuring you get the best possible bespoke deal.

  • It’s a shared partnership. Once a contract is awarded under the framework, it becomes a legally binding agreement between you and the supplier. The supplier is responsible for meeting the agreed specs and quality, while you (the buyer) manage the orders and payments.

  • All the details you need are inside the relevant User Guide. However, you’re never on your own; the Dukefield team is always on hand to give you impartial, professional advice throughout the process.

  • Yes, as long as they are listed on the framework agreement. To keep things compliant, we can't include suppliers in further competitions if they aren't already on the approved framework list.

  • You will enjoy a robust supplier relationship management programme. This means we’re constantly talking to suppliers, reviewing their performance against agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and ensuring they continue to deliver the high standards you expect.

FAQs for Suppliers

  • Management fees (often called rebates) are calculated as a small percentage of the contract's annual value and are used to fund the ongoing management and compliance of the framework.

  • It’s a fantastic way to grow your business within the public sector. Being on a framework reduces the competition for individual contracts and streamlines the procurement process for your customers. It’s a great platform for building stable, long-term relationships with public sector buyers.

  • Typically, our framework agreements run for 4 years. However, individual contracts that you sign with a customer under that framework can often extend beyond that 4-year window if the nature of the project justifies it.
