Satisfied that all desired benefits would be achieved, LSBU awarded the contract to Verifile who provide a UK-based service offering that enables the background screening of students or staff from every corner of the globe.

The Trust secured 36-month fixed gas and 100% renewable electricity contracts through Dukefield Energy, resulting in savings of over £160,000 per year (£480,000 over the full term). Dukefield Energy also provides ongoing support, including bill validation, consumption monitoring, query management, and energy-efficiency guidance.

Derby College secured around £115,000 in annual gas and electricity savings, £345,000 over three years, plus an additional £12,000 contract efficiency from reduced supply capacity after using Dukefield Energy through the framework. Dukefield Energy managed the full procurement process, advising on optimal timing, analysing tender results, and guiding the College to the most advantageous contracts.
